An Afternoon with Kari Kampakis

The Women’s Ministry of St. Luke is excited to invite Mothers and Daughters to an Afternoon with Kari Kampakis. Kari is an author, podcaster, and national speaker from Birmingham, Alabama. She has four daughters and has written numerous bestselling books for moms and teen girls. 

Mothers and Daughters (Grades 5th – 12th) join us for an afternoon of fun, faith and fellowship as Kari shares God’s truth.

Sunday, November 6  from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the St. Luke Ministry Center

Cost: $15/person in advance online; $20/person day of the event (Coffee and Dessert included for moms and Popcorn Bar for the girls!)

Registration opens on October 2 and closes on November 2.


  • First Session – Mothers and Daughters – You are Seen, You Are Loved, Your Life Matters – What it means to live for God’s approval, not human approval, and let your faith be reflected in how you live. Touches on anxiety, social media, friendship, kindness, and owning your faith.
  • Two Breakout Sessions
    • For mothers – How to Love a Teenager – Based on Kari’s book ‘Love Her Well’, a look at how to find the balance between parenting your teen and loving your teen, and letting your relationship with your teen grow up as they grow up. We will have a Coffee/Tea/Dessert Bar and Kari will sign books.
    • For teen girls – A special “On the Couch” session for girls along with a popcorn bar!
