St. Luke Midweek

We have turned up the volume on Wednesday Night Suppers! 

St. Luke MIDWEEK is the ideal opportunity for our entire church family, of all ages and interests, to come together for fellowship each week, August through May. It’s a great time for YOUR family and our church family to gather around the table.

Arrive for a delicious supper at 5:30Cost is $7 per person at the door.

Breakouts begin at 6:15 in various rooms on our campus.  CornerKidz and Students (Middle-High School) have breakouts suited for them, too!

The Art of Parenting led by Laura and Rev. Thad Haygood is the perfect place for parents of young children to be encouraged to grow in their understanding of godly parenting and how discipleship begins in the home.  Study guides will be available at a cost of $10 each. Time is 6:15 – 7:30 upstairs room 221 (Step By Step room in Main Building). Registration required via Sarah Vinyard (see above).

Associate Pastor Rev. Robert Wood is leading a break out session covering six “I AM” statements of Jesus from the Gospel of John. Time is 6:15-7:00 in the Large Dining Room (Ministry Ctr.). No registration required.

The Names of God (for women) led by Amy Ward will allow participants to better understand the nature, character and attributes of God while seeing what His names reveal about Him. Sign up by contacting Amy Ward at award@stlukeum.com. Time is 6:15 – 7:30. Location is room 6 (Ministry Ctr. behind the desk doors). Study guide by Melissa Spoelstra is required and can be ordered via Amazon.

Bible Recap Recap led by Mary Pat Beckum for all who have been reading through the Bible this year. Here is the opportunity to review and clarify what you are reading in a group setting. Rerouting led by Marsha Mason. Life’s detours and unexpected happenings can wreak havoc and cause a sense of hopelessness. Come to be reminded among others that you are not alone and that God is aware of all you are facing in this season. Sign up by contacting Marsha Mason at marshamason2@gmail.com. Reboot/Recovery for active military and veterans helping those who have suffered trauma and tragedy. The faith-based course will assist as you navigate moving forward. If other methods for healing have run their course, this is for you. Jeff Bearden leads in the Meeting Room (behind the doors from the welcome desk, Ministry Ctr.) Time is 6:15 – 8:00.

Christian Medical and Dental (CMDA) Students for our Mercer Medical student family to gather and connect going through specific books of the Bible with expository teaching along with discussion. Doctors Anthony and Lezli Braswell lead in the Small Dining Room (Ministry Ctr.).
