St. Luke MidWeek

September 21 @ 5:30 pm

MIDWEEK is off to a super start and we don’t want to lose the momentum!

Arrive for a delicious supper at 5:30. Cost is $7 per person at the door.

Breakouts begin at 6:15 in various rooms on our campus. CornerKidz and Students (Middle-High School) have breakouts suited for them, too!

October 5 – Following supper is the St. Luke Missions Fair highlighting our own outreach ministries as well as mission opportunities in our community and beyond. Speaking that evening will be Rob and Carrie Strickland from Truth Spring Academy. Get ready to be impressed with how God is moving in the Highland Community area of our city!

NEW! The Art of Parenting led by Laura and Rev. Thad Haygood is the perfect place for parents of young children to be encouraged to grow in their understanding of godly parenting and how discipleship begins in the home. Study guides will be available at a cost of $10 each. Time is 6:15 – 7:30 in Stockwell Hall (Main Bldg.). Registration required via Sarah Vinyard (see above).

NEW! Our new associate pastor Rev. Robert Wood will be leading a break out session giving participants the opportunity to get better acquainted with him as he teaches his choice from the Bible each week. Time is 6:15-7:00 in the Large Dining Room (Ministry Ctr.). No registration required.

NEW! The Names of God (for women) led by Amy Ward will allow participants to better understand the nature, character and attributes of God while seeing what His names reveal about Him. Study guide by Melissa Spoelstra is required and can be ordered via Amazon.

Bible Recap Recap returns led by Mary Pat Beckum for all who have been reading through the Bible this year. Here is the opportunity to review and clarify what you are reading in a group setting. Sign up by contacting Mary Pat at jrbeckum@aol.com. Time is 6:15-7:30 in the church Conference Room (SE corner of Main bldg., 3rd Ave. entrance).

Rerouting returns led by Marsha Mason. Life’s detours and unexpected happenings can wreak havoc and cause a sense of hopelessness. Come to be reminded among others that you are not alone and that God is aware of all you are facing in this season. Sign up by contacting Marsha Mason at marshamason2@gmail.com. Reboot/Recovery returns for active military and veterans helping those who have suffered trauma and tragedy. The faith-based course will assist as you navigate moving forward. If other methods for healing have run their course, this is for you. Jeff Bearden leads in the Meeting Room (behind the doors from the welcome desk, Ministry Ctr.) Time is 6:15 – 8:00.

Christian Medical and Dental (CMDA) Students – For our Mercer Medical student family to gather and connect going through specific books of the Bible with expository teaching along with discussion. Doctors Anthony and Lezli Braswell lead in the Small Dining Room (Ministry Ctr.). Nursery provided with a reservation.
